I actually liked Sun and Moon and thought they were a nice attempt at course correction after X and Y being so bland and forgettable. Ultra Sun and Moon were pretty disappointing, though.
Going off of that, I didn't mind all the cutscenes in Sun and Moon and feel that if people legitimately have this seething, burning hatred for them, then they have the attention span of a sugar-high ten year old.
Despite the influx of reddit spam and trannyposting, Hatterene is still my new Pokewaifu.
I like Fire/Fighting as a typing and never had the same hangups with it as everyone else.
