My personal strat for Nanu is Viola lead trapping, Hau to clean up the sides, Viola again for spatk drop/tank enemy sync and then Noland mega sync for the final blow
and I have a full set of bug gear to show for thisThere's three tweaks than could vastly improve him
1. Dire hit+ instead of X attack. His attack is already above Olivia (hits 500 at max promotion). Mewtwo's doing fine without spatk support. He badly needs crit support especially if 2 bar moves is all he has. Speaking of which...
2. 3 bar move, not for just crit but power. Fury cutter tops at 4 turns. Base bp is 8(9 if you've duped him enough) so it tops at 64 (72) but remember that it resets when miss and has 90 accuracy. It's probably fine for solo play but if you're ever bringing him to coop just use X-scissor, it's a consistent 50 (60) bp with 100 accuracy. I can't think of any other high powered bug move pinsir can learn (no it can't learn megahorn) so it'll have to be another type
3. Make being mega earlier, maybe make their counter shorter or something. If they every introduce some way to get a first turn mega he is absolutely going to be busted for being a striker with impervious.
This is why I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for the sync grid. I think 1 & 2 are reasonable enough that it could possibly be there. I still think they might fix megas somehow but I'll wait and see.
