I like some nice pastels as much as the next guy, but it depends on how they're used - and I think the natural world has so many more colours than that.
SwSh looks alright colour-wise, but then it has the emptiness problem.
Also I just checked my Pokemon Mini: the battery got old and all this powder was everywhere when I opened it. I cleaned it up the best I could, but with a new battery it just won't turn on now. Sad.
