Every time you meet him though he becomes a bit more mature and level headed, he doesn't have some drastic epiphany, he just gradually develops into a competent trainer. He also wouldn't be your main rival.
>TeamHis ace is a Larvitar that follows him around and constantly disobeys him causing him to end your interactions with him chasing after it. It evolves into a Pupitar and then finally a Tyranitar that's matured into a fully tamed powerhouse. His other Pokemon would be Excadrill, Dracovish, Swellow, Grimmsnarl, and Polteageist.
