The point of outcry is to get people on your side to send a message to the entity the outcry is measured against. Ticking people off didn't get them on the side of BBND, it made them see the movement as a bunch of whiny manchildren. Now, 2 years later, it's considered a laughingstock because they carried themselves like petulant children just for the games to march onto third best selling in the franchise and Pokemon being bigger than ever.
