I was hyped at first and fell in love with the first batch of new Pokemon shown. Then there was the reveal that Pokemon were being cut, and everything pretty much fell apart. I'd be lying if I said that these leaks weren't intriguing since I really like a lot of the new Pokemon and the quality of life changes... but there's still too many shitty aspects of this game that are holding me back: the outdated visuals, the lukewarm wild area, the shitty sounding story, Gamefreak's complete and utter refusal to put in any meaningful postgame content after Gen 5, the complete and utter retardation that is Gigantamax/Dynamax... And honestly, some of the typings of these new Pokemon are really throwing me off even if I like the designs. Why are there so many damn monotypes?
Overall I'm not opposed to buying it used down the line, but this game really doesn't do enough to justify the $60 price tag.
