I'll admit I was in the #3 camp. I picked it up again about late summer of 2017 and the game has completely changed for the better, its faaar more polished than it was at the start, and if you don't like microtransactions of smart phone games in general, POGO is one of the most forgiving in this aspect. you can find everything you need spinning pokestops
