>>28229431Personally I've never minded that, if only because it's another mild loose end that offers people the chance to pick it back up and imagine what happens on their own. It's part of the reason I like Explorers, it's always felt like it's the richest with... plot threads? Brainstorm fuel? Whatever you want to call it.
I started writing a story about the idea of Grovyle and co. having to integrate back into mundane life after living in post-apoc for who knows how long, but the idea spiraled out of my hands. I'll probably try it again someday, though, when I can outline things better.
