Despite almost losing my Crystal run, I thought GSC was pretty alright. If you have checks for Bugsy's Scyther, Whitney's Miltank and Morty's Gengar, most of the midgame will be on the easier side even with hardcore rules since Jasmine's lv 35 Steelix will let you overlevel and crush everything until Lance
Lance also having a lv 50 Dragonite means you might be over ten levels higher than most of the rest of the E4, so you really only have to prep for him
Overall, lots of fun so far, but I'm glad I'm getting into the games with more fun movesets to be used. I just hope I didn't use too many Kanto mons since I need those for FRLG and Let's Go
