Phanpy. When I was a kid, I was obsessed with elephants and thought they were the coolest animals (intelligent, highly social, unique prehensile nose), but I eventually fell out of love with them. I'm not entirely sure why. Phanpy was one of the first Pokemon I ever saw and instantly became my favorite, as well as my first card. As I slowly left my elephant phase, I discovered Mew, and it struck an even greater cord with me as a kid who grew up with cats. Mew remains my favorite, but I'm trying to rekindle my love for Phanpy, and now Donphan, by collecting fanart and using them in-game. Fortunately, I've started warming up to them again, and I hope it stays that way.
