>>53907782I wrote a Cynthia Visual Novel/Adventure game and had it take place in Olivine City specifically so I could include Jasmine in it. I decided Jasmine and Cynthia are friends and Cynthia was there visiting Jasmine while on a trip back from Indigo Plateau. I think they make a good double act. Cynthia is super confident while Jasmine is kind of a wimp; but on the flip side, Cynthia rarely stops to think about other peoples' feelings and she tends to talk about herself a lot; while Jasmine is a supportive friend and a better leader than she gives herself credit for, who's not afraid to ask for help when she gets in over her head. They're cute together although they don't end up sharing a ton of screen time, which I think is kind of a flaw. Oh well. It's not yuri or anything.
