>>51354337>It's only a "utopia" because you're viewing it through the abstracted lens of a child who ONLY cares about their Pokemon Journey, and thus the finer details almost never enter their scope of vision unless they're tied to their journey in some wayIts exactly this. There exist numerous callouts to real life dilemmas throughout the series, but usually not the focal point of the main adventure.
I actually enjoy this about most Pokemon games though, because it makes them fun to rediscover and think about in later years.
