People will still consume these games, even if it's an inferior product to it's predecessors. Pokemon Sword and Shield are currently the 5th best selling games on the Switch; even if GameFreak fuck up the next game they're still going to pull in fuck tons of cash.
And games aside even if they did fail financially with these next iterations, they'd make back their money in merchandise (which makes up over 50% of TPCI's revenue. GameFreak at this point can do whatever the fuck they want to, and no fat, balding, onions blooded faggot is going to change their perception.
