>>53634321>Donuts exist in the games, right?Yup, though in GTI they are introduced as DLC dungeon food. Chocolate also exists in the game, but pic related is how its first introduced.
They seem to be like gummis or something, mystery dungeon food that is rare and quite valuable.
But the idea of some humon coming along and starting some agriculture to make the base ingredients for that stuff and produce it regularly, or hell even exploring the distant parts of the world to find those and bring them back home to cultivate them (which is what I've written off my Snivy and Axew characters as doing in the thread rp among other things, though in off-hand posts but still). given how the native pokemon go absolutely nuts over it (I suppose similar to how irl people went nuts over stuff like spices and pineapples) you'd get a lot of renown just for finding new foods for pokemon to try out, let aloe bringing them home and figuring out how to grow and cultivate them.
>It would be interesting if a future PMD game had a farming sim side-mode where you grow crops to make stat-boosting food for your team.GTI "sort of" has that, with the Paradise building mechanic. You can build farms, for certain berries/seeds but I don't believe you can grow stat-boosting items. Nor do they have any sort of town management mechanic or something, which I think would be fun. I'm a fan of games like Stronghold and would love to see something like that in a PMD setting kek.
