Pokefucking aside, it's jarring to see that not even the Pokemon that are popular (Braixen specifically) within Japan's borders were not safe from being culled. Even having a spot in Pokken Tournament was not enough to save those Pokemon from being culled. Braixen being cut is a tiny bit plausible, probably just as a side effect of cutting every other starter besides Charizard.
But how did GF go about selecting which other Pokemon to cut? It feels as if they ran them all through a random number generator.
