And yeah, the concept of Wailord as living boats is pretty similar to some of the stuff people in Xenoblade 2 do, such as the Argentum Trade Guild using this huge ballon titan as essentially a hot air balloon for a huge ship that merchants live and do trade on. This was actually my concept for the flying gym of Erikos, platforms and trainers riding on top of a pod of Erikosian Wailord and Wailnarr that travels around the region.

Their profits began to hit a downturn because the mistreatment of their Slowpoke caused their tails to grow back stunted and underdeveloped, which eventually caused in their shutdown when a disgruntled employee turned into a whistleblower with Aksel's help. Hugo's tail is starting to grow back properly under Aksel's care.
