Routes are way too wide, and way too blocky. Look at 119, one of the best gen 3 routes. Its narrow paths that wind back and forth with overlooks. Its tight, and designed to fit on a gameboy screen, which was like 15 by 10 tiles wide. If you want to keep doing these demakes, keep that in mind and what the "player" would see on that screen to keep that game feel. A lot of the grass patches you have are that big by themselves and give you no sense of direction

my first house was there, loved it but now I'm there >>38008065, just next the waterfall, it's one of my favorite route ever, where you can catch one of the few water pokemon I can stand and use. lot of fun secret bases and some of my friends were there too.

hated the snowy shit in gen4. I hate gen4 as a whole but this one was extra shitty and bland. literally.

I thought it was just the 3D perspective, but now that I look at it, they really made that route considerably smaller in ORAS.
The top right corner and the middle left area (with less tall grass and two puddles missing) are the most obvious changes.
