They always have a shit budget and yet they do what they can, cyber slueth might not be extravagant but they went all out. Despite the fan service lets go offers like following pokemon and riding pokemon it doesn't make up for the fact these games look like a half assed attempt to make a quick buck. Don't get me wrong im sure gen 8 will deliver but these games seem so mediocre. Also how does your argument even hold up? When Mario made the jump to 3d they set the standard same with zelda.
