>I used to write shitty Sonic fanfiction during my mid teens. None of it was good but I did interact with some nice people while doing it. The only thing I regret out of the whole thing is that I acted like a massive awkward knob towards them more often than not. But overall it was a nice experience that actually makes me appreciate good writing even more than I would have otherwise.
