Campaign's kinda dead in the water. The two pals participating are 8 hours ahead of me and are moreso artists than they are writers. I've just been jotting down plot ideas and NPCs while I wait for either them to respond or for me to find someone else who'd be interested in it.
Charlie probably does survive mostly off of things he can get from his own garden with his Pokemon mostly feeding off of pests and weeds that make their way into the garden. I doubt he's above snagging a local Noctowl or Jigglypuff for some protein when he can, but aside from that Route 20's Pokemon are either also plants, too humanoid in the case of Gothorita, or practically impossible to catch in the case of Zoroark.
