Out of the newer gens, I think 7 really impressed me with how well everything works together. The soundtrack just hits every aspect of the game, and it's a huge part of why Alola feels so cohesive as a region in a way that (imo) every region that isn't Johto or Orre struggles more with. Night music is also used really well here, which again ties back into the theming for the generation. It's just a really strong package.
