I was about to make a thread, but since we have a gen1 starter thread here already, I'd like to discuss Blastoise's cannons. I was just randomly thinking about them. Given that Blastoise isn't a Steel type (not even partial), and even Mega Blastoise is still pure Water, the cannons are probably made out of bone or the same carapace material as his shell and he has purely biological muscles and joints to aim the cannons. Blastoise is weird and I can't think of any other pokemon like it off the top of my head.
