This happened a couple of years ago. I was playing pokemon with my younger cousin, I had Black and he already had Black 2 so he was sending me some exclusive pokemon. He traded me a Growlithe nicknamed TIGER and because it had such a horrible nickname I popped it in the daycare to get a new one. I got my egg, hatched it and lo and behold, it was a shiny. One of the few times I actually lost my shit because of a shiny.
