P5R actually has things that set it up like changing some dialogue from the original to confirm that some members of the conspiracy are still out to frame Joker. And one of the new characters, Jose, literally only exists to sequel bait. He has no purpose in Royal, he's just an optional fight who talks about working for an unknown party after you beat him.
So yes what I'm saying is the "enhanced relrease" actually has more hanging plot threads than the vanilla game and Atlus is just as bad if not worse than Gamefreak right now because of that and the absolutely disgusting amounts of DLC (some of which absolutely has no right being DLC) they've been doing recently.
