>>48249323>>48249476>A trainer's Pokemon left stranded far from their partner?Wait, I forgot the poster child for this whole concept in the Party's story. Shadow The Sneasel/Weavile. He was once a part of the evil organization/terrorist group called Schwarzschild, he and his ex-trainer got beat up, captured by the party, sent to the hospital then his trainer ditched him in said hospital. From then on he joined up with Brent and the gang for REVENNGEE. He grew to really trust and like the party because we respected him, treated him like an equal, got super strong together, and had fun as a team. We even helped him pick a name for himself because he didn't have one. His old trainer didn't treat him with any amount of respect or care, he was a tool, down the fact that he had a tracking chip embedded into his spine (removing that almost killed him, but we got it out). We eventually ran into his ex-trainer when we stormed their base, Shadow almost killed him, but Brent and Donny, convinced him that the guy was not worth killing, and he decided to not slit his throat (He did kick him in the dick and spit on him though). But he took his Pokeball back and stole the dude's Razor Claw and evolved into a Weavile right there. From them on Shadow had the choice to be fully owned by one of the party members, but he chose to think it over a bit more, and in the meantime gave his Pokeball to Brent so if he fainted in a fight, he'd know Brent would pull him back in a heartbeat. Post game, Shadow chose to not be owned by anyone and is legally classified as "Owner: Shadow" so he has no trainer (human or Pokemon). Brent offered to buy him a home, but he didn't want one and instead settled on having a room in Brent & Haley's home he can return to whenever he pleases. He also started up a heavy metal Pokemon band, solo'd a bunch of Gyms getting badges along the way, and shot a couple of cops. So he's living his best life.
