Hey, late posting today, but... this has gone on long enough. In today's bit of husband/wife blind Shield Nuzlocking, we're figuring out how to evolve our Snom, Elsa, and to make our way to WYNDON!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJMb9TTsnmM>>41984134I don't think there's real consensus yet on the Wild Area, but I think it depends on how hard you want to make it, and how limited you want your team to be. Being blind, we just said each individual part of the wild area was a separate area, and we catch one in each like normal (leaning towards dynamax raid battles). I saw some people limit themselves to one catch per gym badge in the wild area, and one catch before any badges. That SOUNDS like a good way to make the game harder, but really, I think limiting your numbers of mons in this game isn't the way to make it harder. You wind up naturally super over levelled that way. If you're looking to make it harder, I'd add a rule that you have to have a completely different team each time you walk into a gym. So if you go into the first gym with 6 mons, you couldn't use any of those until the third gym. As for monotype rules, I think the consensus is that you don't count encounters that aren't on type. Though maybe you could do something else with the overworld Pokemon in this game.
