Then Mew, Mewtwo and Zacian became playable EX characters and the powercreep was enough to thanos the playerbase again. Despite being banned and nerfed nowadays the damage is done and the player base is basically dead. Also draft mode if you make it past masters.
The meta: Spend the first 3 minutes trying to get to lvl 9 in laning phase, fuck around for 5 minutes doing anything but going to the Regi objectives, and the last 2 minutes fighting to the death in the Rayquaza pit. Just like ol' Zapdos. If you're good you should be level 13 by the time Ray shows up.
Some of the mons and the eevees evolve at level 4 giving them an edge compared to the rest of the rosters. There are also some mons who get some pretty strong moves when they hit lvl 9. Ask around here if you want more detail.
Anything is fine as long as you don't have 5 attackers/ speedsters in the same team.
Don't bother filling in for defender though. The best form of support is the murder the entire enemy team, especially the enemy tank defenders. That's why you should learn to play an all-rounder or too.
