>>27116622>You didn't need money to start, people that couldn't afford cards or had strict parents would just beg for some spare common cards that you most likely had triples of and if they weren't dumb they'd work their way up. In my country that wasn't the case. I remember playing once and the game was helluva fun. But at the same time the cards were expensive as fuck and less than 6 kids in school had the cards. Also I remember Charizard being expensive as hell and everybody talked about it.
I could afford the Yu-gi-oh cards later, but they were shit. Nobody knew how to play, everybody cheated and everyone had the best cards because piracy. In the last days, people printed cards.
Sucks to live in the third world :(
