>>57730623>>57730640This is one of the greatest episodes of AG simply because of how it suddenly decides to spring an adultery and near-divorce plotline on kids watching their weekly Pokémon cartoon, kids that are just waiting to see a gym battle. Like, you're tuning in to see Ash battle for his badge and instead get 21 minutes of May and Max's personal lives getting ripped to shreds because you think their dad is secretly banging Nurse Joy just before his wedding anniversary... all for it to be a misunderstanding. Oh, and Ash is sidelined the whole time just to emphasize how terrible it is to be May and Max in this episode. I'm both shocked this episode was made, and get a kick out of how it was dubbed totally straight with no glossing over how fucked up the scenario is.
