>>50753598enhanced on BW. BW served as a soft-reboot and captured the closing thing to playing RBY for the first time, again.
I started with yellow, played silver and sapphire. Gen 3 felt worse than Gen 2, so I stopped playing the games.
Gen 5 came out as I was leaving high school. Picked up a used copy of Black at GameStonks. The game was amazing and I went back and played Soul Silver and got back into the fandom.
Tried playing Diamond, but Gen 4 felt like it expanded on all of the things I hated about Gen 3. Found myself spending most of the game in the underground, as it was more entertaining than the rest of the game. Never finished it.
Black 2 felt like ‘the post game’ of Black. The concept of a direct sequel was interesting, and all of the content kept me busy.
Gen 6 came out. Played it and liked it, but went back to B2 after beating the main story in Y. After that “new pokemon game” feeling wore off, really began to hate Gen 6 but knew they’d add more content in Pokemon Z.
>There was no Pokemon ZORAS came out. Played Omega Ruby. Beat it, still don’t see why so many people like Hoenn, but whatever. SM were good. USUM weren’t. Wouldn’t support Gamefreak or TPC after their official response to the dexit backlash.
