In the same way all Pokemon give certain EVs when defeated in battle, all Pokemon will have a certain stat spread and ability they grant when they're used as an armor form
>go to some guy in some town, turn any Pokemon into an "Armor Orb"
>give the Armor Orb to any other Pokemon
>the first move in the Pokemon's moveset becomes "Armor Evolution" (the move is not deleted and is returned if the item is removed, a Pokemon can be turned from an Armor Orb back to a Pokemon at any time if you go to the guy's house)
>each Pokemon has an additional form, an "Armor Evolution" form
>because it's GF, each Pokemon has only 1 Armor form, but the armor changes its effect and its color pallet depending on the Pokemon used for the Armor Orb
>e.g. if you turned Charizard into an Armor Orb, it would give the Pokemon holding the orb Charizard-colored armor, +10 base SpAtk and +10 base Speed and the ability Solar Power
