Ming-Ming's father owns a dojo in Iki Town, and fighting him was the way she got permission at all to go on her Island Challenge with the small group of Pokemon she had in association with her. Kazuki on the other hand, his background is wrapped in mystery for the most part. Being an orphan has its perks however, it's one of the easiest ways to get yourself involved within a villain team, got no one explicitly looking for you, very few avenues to turn to anyway. Would K make for a great father? He'd at least remark to his kid not to follow his path, and if they did descend through his footsteps, he'd try to keep an eye on them as much as he can. Perhaps that would be a fun story, seeing K's humanity manipulated by a child of his.
