There's no asian people in the Pokemon world, all of the fair-skinned characters are white, and all the brown characters are black.
Even in the regions based on Japan, the vast majority of characters look white, like Lorelei, Jasmine, Clair, Gardenia, Karen, Sabrina, Roxanne, Winona, Flannery, Maylene even if they are asian coded.
