When I got a 3ds and hacked it I decided to try out Moon and I was so fucking bored
Maybe it's because I was still jaded and had other games I wanted to play so I was speeding through, but I did not enjoy my time with it one bit
A few days ago I started playing an ultra sun hack that makes every pokemon catchable, despite the lack of a fucking national dex, (difficulty is also increased I should mention) and I've been liking it a lot more now that I'm taking my time to explore and see everything. There is even some unironic soul in certain parts. Though, keep in mind I'm still at the end of the first island (10hrs playtime it says)
Overall for now I'm glad they tried something new, even if trials are just gyms with a new coat of paint and there's cutscenes and/or roadblocks every 2 seconds. Some of the music is good too, but no battle themes sound that interesting to me yet
Lastly, I'm gonna cum inside this fucking rabbit
