>>46984314I considered Pokken to be an attempt at rebooting/rebranding the stadium series. you cant make 3d battles a selling point after XY, so they made an actual fighting game.
Thus, Bamco has made the modern Snap & Stadium, so next would be Hey you Pikachu, the third n64 spinoff. They're making Detective Pikachu 2 next then, unless I'm wrong in viewing that as a reboot of the Pikachu games as Pokken is to Stadium. I hope I am, as the Pikachu series peaked with Pokepark, and a Bamco game like that would be great especially with a party mode focusing harder on the minigames.
But if you're going to revive the old style stadium games, I think it could be done.
>make this game the box/ranch/bank itself>put in every battle format to let players learn to battle & experiment with it locally, single player, and online>make the animations & graphics impressive, and update them sometimes>include the academy to teach rules/more advanced stuff>include many stadiums & rulesets plus unique challenges like gym leader castle, mt battle, battle frontier stuff, etc>make it basically a console version of pokemon masters with most of the characters to battle>include wild area like ranches of different biomes to visit your mons similar to the chao garden>include pokemon amie or something like it & probably more light virtual pet stuff.>include a single player campaign based on snagging (shadow) pokemon available only in this game>host regular online events & story to snag special pokemon, and regular competitions like splatoon's splatfests>include many QoL options such as toggling the announcer or move animations>include contests>include trainer customizationBasically make it an optional but strong addition to the main games, and like a hub for your pokemon and online battling between games & keep it constantly updated. Your pokemon probably cant level up, evolve, breed, and you cant catch wild pokemon. TMs arent here but TRs are common rewards.
