Japanese cards are cheap because low demand, but some promos and rare cards can be more expensive than english ones. Prices are more in the extremes when buying them.
If you want to do that, go ahead, but you're relying on nip scalpers mostly, they have extreme issues with stock right now and the cards are not easy to resell.
