Obviously yes, DLC is better than a rehashed game, but in this circumstance, where the "DLC" is comprised of content that's always included in the base game (additional legendaries, mythicals, a postgame area, side dungeons, etc), we're clearly being fed cut content at an additional price, thus making this instance of "DLC" bullshit. Considering the timeline of events and the fact that they're fully rendered and playable in the trailers, they had to have been made alongside the base game, but held back to be sold separately.
THAT'S what people are taking issue with, not "REEEEE, I WANTED GUN VERSION!"
