>>30169942I don't think it's fair to judge a villain solely on why they're evil. You gotta look at them as a character too, Giovanni was cool because he didn't fuck around. He was an inscrutable mob boss who ignored laws and morals completely, comitting massive city spanning crimes in broad daylight, taking an entire office building captive just to personally blackmail the CEO. And, ridiculously enough, he still managed to keep his position as Gym Leader. The only things he respected were money, power and his own pride.
And I fucking love it.
