>>39073534I do believe there are some pokestops that have a shiny radius. Purely making guesses based on coincidences, but I have found five shiny mons all within a very close proximity to a certain pokestop.
I also think it has something to do with the following factors
- age of account
- level of account
- frequency of 4&5* raid participation
- frequency of play (usually measured by how many gyms you are defending on average)
- average $$ spent per month
- whether or not you participate in most community days
For example, I've been playing since day two and I'm lv 40. I spend an average of $10/mo (incubators mostly). Those have been my stats for a little over a year. I was a super-hardcore player this time last year. Raided my free pass daily. Did at least two 4&5* raids a day. Never let my gym defender count drop below 15 for too long. Participated and helped lead groups for community days. Checked this page, reddit, and half a dozen twitter accounts daily for updates. I mean, I was fucking hardcore for four or five months straight. I even managed to raise a second account to lv30 in less than two months, and didn't spend a dime on it. That's how much I played.
Wanna know how many shiny pokemon I got outside of raids or CDs during that five month span? Two.
Since then, I haven't been able to dedicate as much time or money to the game. I miss CDs all the time, and I don't raid 4&5*s any more. Wanna know how many shinies I wild-caught in that six month span?
30+
