It's got to be this guy.
I used to be into pokemon since gen I but never got a game until Gen II, I had crystal and I always seemed fond of raising them. Regardless of how much time it took to grind them.
I used to live in Brazil at the time, and by the time that Gen III had come out, I had to move back to my home country (Bolivia)
Bolivia is much less developed than Brazil, but it's all right, and it has only gotten better..well sort of (thanks comunism).
I had left all my friends back in Brazil, we all played Gen II together after and sometimes during school. It was a reason to meet up after classes, play games and eat a snack. When I got back to my country, I had no friends and I felt very lonely. When I took Sapphire to my school, there was only another two kids that had the game.
We all chose different starters and played during recess. Soon they invited me to their places.
It's been a while since then. We all attend different colleges in different countries now. But I still got a facebook message the other day, "yo, are you going to pick up X or Y?"
Blaziken was my starter in my trio of friends. He's also pretty sweet to play with too, he holds up pretty well in competitive and I have kept my first blaziken up to this day.
