Managed to make do with Aki, who evolved after the gym battle, it was down to a coin flip in the end whether I could switch in and get the bite off without fainting to Psybeam on Mismagius. Luckily the Bronzor caught in Wayward cave was able to soak up enough EXP in the gym to be switched into a couple of times against Fantina.
Boxed Kirlia for now, as I intend to go for Gallade where it'll learn some nice moves if it evolves around the current level. I might try and farm a lucky egg with thief next route, will see.
>>54064862Funny you should mention, I think I'll try Flareon this run, last platinum I reared up a late Glaceon to take on Cynthia. Got the right nature for it more or less so I'll see when I can get a Fire Stone, learnset sucks without TMs for most eeveelutions it seems.
