But given the game is based on Hawaii, I think Polynesian would be the best assumption to make. The location gf are deriving inspiration is a bigger clue for the characters heritage than skin tone alone. Also her attire appears to be more native matching the idea that she is an Alolan native as the Polynesian people are natives to Hawaii.
