But couldn't they have Misty be there then? Or Brock? If they're gonna be coming back now anyways... At least they're relevant enough, unlike Dawn. What the fuck has Dawn done? Since when does Dawn even care about Ash enough to go there? "hurr I couldn't stand back and just watch on TV!" Yeah? Fuck off. That shit makes other characters look bad for no reason. Misty could fucking be there. She was sitting on her gym alone doing NOTHING. Why not just bring her instead??? She's leaving the gym two days later anyway! At least she's fucking relevant and has some sort of interesting relationship with Ash!
Fucking Dawn showing up out of nowhere makes no sense. That spot doesn't belong to her, she isn't more special than I don't know, the Alola crew or even fucking IRIS (IRIS WAS LITERALLY AT THE STADIUM, WHY DID SHE LEAVE???). And she DEFINITELY isn't more special than Misty or Serena either, two characters that actually belong next to Ash. Hack fucking writers.
