I got really fucking tired of the artstyle from gen 6 onwards because of the "uguu" character design (Shauna is a very extreme example of this) where everything became way too moe. I actually really like how reserved a lot of the 3d models here look. They feel "mature" (as much as they can be anyways) and it kinda gives me hope that SV MIGHT have a more grounded story and and less childish characters. But then again it might just be the same shitty baby tone again lmao.
