I didn't particularly like the Looker quest just because it felt like I was the protagonist of a hiimdaisy comic. Like I was the only sane and competent person in a world filled with bizarro people who only exist for me to beat up, and even though I was the primary person driving these events forward, very few of those events seemed to directly involve my own decisions.
Actually, that pretty much just describes pokemon in general, now that I think of it. I guess the Looker quest made it a bit more obvious by having you play a hypercompetent sidekick instead of the actual protagonist.
