Sabrina is pretty much the typical protagonist you'd see in them: One part wanting to be a normal kid but dutiful toward the responsibility their powers gave them, one part "pacifistic" but ends up fighting all the time anyway, and one part mysterious. They very, very rarely get adapted for the west, so most of us in English-speaking countries don't even realize that genre was a thing.
If you've ever seen Mob Psycho, the entire series is also a parody of them.
