>>47759230I decided to raise up Electivire to help me fight the remaining trainers since it's got pretty damn good coverage. The only easily available Fighting type move to teach it is Low Kick though unfortunately, so for now I'm gonna go with a Special set since its Special Attack isn't too bad.
When I get to the Pokemon League though I'll start theorycrafting every single fight and see what Electivire could do, see if it could help out against Iris. Dual Chop would be pretty good against Haxorus; I do also have a Dragon Gem, though I'm not sure if that boosts both hits or just the first.
I also have my plan for Marshal: Serperior. I raised her up and brought her up to my team's levels, but she waits in the wings for now. She has Coil, Leaf Blade, Leech Seed, and Synthesis, and the plan is to wall Marshal's Throh, tank the hits, heal up with Leech Seed, Synthesis, and Leftovers, slowly wear it down, and try to set up Coils. I feel like of all the Pokemon I have left that's my best shot. Maybe Electivire could do something with Charge Beam and Psychic, but it's risky.
Still, I welcome Tanya back to the team for now, and Miranda will join me for the final fight, provided I'm able to get there in the first place. Grinding these two took a few hours but it was actually kind of fun, wailing away on Audinos the whole time. If there's one thing I've learned about this playthrough it's that getting Pokemon up to speed is pretty simple thanks to Audino.
Now I'm gonna go back to the Abundant Shrine to fight the trainers there, see where Waterfall can take me for more items and trainers, and then I'll do Route 23 and Victory Road proper. The end is in sight.
