He thinks he's some "super star" with his head up his own ass and made us chase him around Ilex Forest (which after you run around it 3-4 times you can kiiinda see as it, but Jagold takes some artistic liberties with it) until he gets tired and joins us.
We go back to Hoenn, the Tailow asks to come with us, Chikorita is gung-ho for it and says yes before anyone can contradict, and Mmmmchu takes the Tailow out for private discussion.
The Tailow runs its motormouth for a full minute before Mmmmchu says what I'm thinking and tells him to shut the fuck up, and we find out this Tailow is Mmmmchu's friend, Mark. Mark joins our party so now we have a useless shitmon on our team (unless it's allowed to evolve in which case it might be decent, but I doubt it).
Mark seems to have the worst aspects of Chikorita and Tailow combined, and I really hope he doesn't talk much. Now all of our friends are accounted for except the one named Jagold, who I assume is going to be our sixth party member because Jagold seems to have a big ego, given he was the bonus boss of the last game and had four Legendaries.
Ho-Oh can't take us back to our home because that's Evangelion's turf, and drops us off at Veronica Town, which I recognize from the name as one of the (few decent-designed) towns from Reign of Legends.
