>>51607425I assume you're talking about Adventures. It does veer into edgy shit sometimes but I think some people exaggerate that. It's not over the top grimdark shit, IMO it's just a more lived in version of the Pokemon world if that makes sense, like the type that's implied by the Pokedex in the games but rarely ever gets shown on screen.
There's a lot of other manga, though most of them have ended aside from I think that first manga which is a gag strip. Personally, I liked Electric Tale of Pikachu quite a bit myself, and not just because of the horny art. It felt like it was taking Ash's story and adding the right amount of edge to it. Like the way he lost against Richie in that manga was way more memorable and acceptable.
