>>36531628it's hard to say, I can kind of understand if they wanted it to feel like it actually takes work for your poke to get through that shit.. but at the same time, the animation and the cut-in wasn't implemented that well and isn't engaging at all (+slow).
What if everytime you went to cut/rock smash/etc it would display a small "minigame" window where you have to press A at a right time, done correctly the animation would be faster and if you would just spam A/not pay attention it would take the normal time. #spitballing
